Our 100% El Salvador Santa Teresa Bourbon coffee comes from the high mountains of Ahuachapan. These mountains are at an average altitude of 4,600 feet above sea level, a prime spot to grow coffee. This coffee is 100% Sun Patio dried before it is exported.
This rare coffee yields only 3,000 bags per year. It is Certified with Smithsonian Institution Standards. With each pound of coffee purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Smithsonian Institution Migratory Bird Center for research and conservation programs.
Taste: This coffee has a dark chocolate fragrance; herbal, nippy acidity, creamy body and finishes clean.
This has a medium roast. Medium Roasted coffees maintain the fruity and winey characteristics and minimizes the heavy aftertaste.
